• Format CDR/CDRW

If using a CD as the media for a backup,

the CD must first be formatted. This option

is selectable from the Backup screen.

Once Format CD is selected, Roxio

Drag-to-Disc utility launches. This utility will

format the CD for use as backup media,

ready for video clips. Insert a CD or DVD

and click ALT F to start the format process,

or click the menu icon and select Format

Disc. When prompted for a label, a

maximum of 12 characters, including

spaces, can be entered.
