Maintenance &

Cleaning

– Store and transport the measur-

ing tool only in the supplied pro-

tective case.

– Keep the measuring tool clean at

all times.

– Do not immerse the measuring

tool into water or other fluids.

Wipe off dirt with a soft damp

cloth.

– Do not use any cleaning agents

or solvents.

– In all correspondence and spare

parts orders, please always in-

clude the 10-digit number given

on the nameplate of the tool.

– If the tool needs to be send in

for servicing, send the tool

packed in its protective case 15.

– Check the tool’s accuracy from

time to time for damage, such

as after being dropped. To

check the accuracy, use the

Miterfinder™ to measure the an-

gle of a quality 90° square tool.

– If the tool will not be used for a

significant period of time, re-

move the batteries to eliminate

the possibility of damage from

corroded batteries.

Disposal

Tools, batteries, accessories and

packaging should be sorted for en-

vironmental-friendly recycling.
