1.3.2 SE485 Interface Adapter
Description
The SE485 is an interface between the
pseudo RS-485 signal bus of the
Security Escort Transponder and the
Serial Bus (RS-232) of the Security
Escort central console. The SE485
allows multiple transponders to
interface into a single RS-232 port.
Due to changes made for transient
protection, transformer isolation, and
link busy detection, these signals are
not compatible with third party RS-485
interfaces.
