Condition Monitoring
Notice!
The Condition Monitoring feature is only available in Germany together with a service
agreement with ST-BT.
If the Condition Monitoring feature was activated via the remote programming software
FSP-5000-RPS data of relevant LSN devices and FPA-5000 modules are collected and sent to a
central management server system (CMS) where they can be analyzed in order to offer
customers preventive services. In the Condition Monitoring
window you find information concerning the feature:
1. In the start menu, select Diagnostics
2. Network services
3. Condition Monitoring
A list with information concerning the Condition Monitoring feature is displayed:
– State of Condition Monitoring: shows if the Condition Monitoring feature was activated
in the programming software FSP-5000-RPS. In case that Condition Monitoring was
activated temporarily the remaining time of the activation is shown (Timeout of
temporary transfer).
– State of last transfer: State of the last transfer of data from LSN devices connected to
the fire panel to the Condition Monitoring server (OK/Failed/Authentication failed)
– Date of last transfer: Date and time of the last data transfer from an LSN device
connected to the fire panel to the Condition Monitoring Server.
– Server IP address: IP address of the server collecting Condition Monitoring data.
– Server port: Port number of the server collecting Condition Monitoring data.
To check whether the Ethernet connection to the central management server is still active
choose Check server connection. The state of the connection to the central management
server is shown.
Voice alarm systems
Two different kinds of voice alarm systems can be connected to the FPA-5000 and FPA-1200:
– Plena voice alarm system
– Praesideo voice alarm system
The diagnostic information displayed depends on the voice alarm system configured for the
FPA-5000/FPA-1200 network.
To display a list of all connected voice alarm systems that are used for voice evacuation:
1. In the start menu, select Diagnostics
2. VAS
A list of the available voice alarm systems is displayed.
To display information on an available Plena voice alarm system:
Touch one of the systems displayed in order to select it. The following information is
displayed:
– Trouble (yes/no)
– Emergency (yes/no)
– Failure (yes/no)
– Internal monitoring (yes/no)
– Supervision time (sec).
– Boot-up phase is finished (yes/no)
